FAQs

How long does shipping take?

Generally, most U.S. customers can expect their cartridge puller to arrive within 5 – 7 business days from when the order is placed. Occasionally, we take a vacation for a few days here and there, so if you know you will need the tool sooner than 7 days, please call or email me before placing your order to make sure we will be able to ship it in time (especially during the holidays). We ship through the United States Postal Service (USPS) using the small “priority mail” boxes. If you have not received your tool after 7 business days, please contact me for tracking information.

What’s your fastest shipping option?

We can express ship packages in the US for an additional $30. Depending on your actual address, this only takes 1 or 2 days. This option is not available through this website, so please call or email me for assistance.

Do you sell and ship internationally?

For international orders, please email me your address, and I’ll figure it out and let you know. Canadian orders generally take 8 – 10 business days and cost an additional $30 in shipping.

What’s your Refund/Returns Policy?

I personally assemble every tool by hand and test each of them for functionality. I guarantee they will work as advertised as long as you follow the directions given. I cannot, however, guarantee the condition of the cartridge you are trying to extract. Success relies on the integrity of the cartridge stem, and the operator’s ability to utilize the tool as designed. I will happily refund for any tool that does not completely satisfy as long as it’s not damaged or rusty.

I mistakenly have broken the small threaded screw that screws into the cartridge. What is the size of it? Is there any way I could buy one from you?

It is a 10-24 X 1” socket set-screw. They are available at your local hardware store for less than 20 cents.

Do you repair our tool if we break it? How much does that cost generally?

Other than replacing the socket set-screw, there is nothing that can break.

Does this come with written instructions?

It comes with a few written recommendations and a link to my website where you can find operational videos.

Will this puller work with cordless drills?

Yes. I recommend using a 12-volt impact driver. If you want to go really slow and easy, you can also use a ⅜” socket wrench.

Does this only work on removing cartridges from the Moen tub and shower valves?

Yes, it is only designed for Moen single handle valves.

Any bulk discounts? Do you have wholesaler pricing?

Yes, please contact me directly for details.
